THE IMPORTANT DETAILS

A straightforward
privacy note.

An overview of how the current CodeFrom portfolio site handles information.

Optional Google account sign-in

When you optionally sign in with Google, CodeFrom receives your verified email address, display name, and Google account identifier. We save these details in a private CodeFrom MySQL user account database, together with your first login time, most recent login time and number of sign-ins. The Google account identifier is used to recognize returning users even if their email changes. We use these records for account continuity across codefrom.in, blog.codefrom.in and templates.codefrom.in. We do not store your Google password, Google access token, or Google refresh token in this user database. A secure session cookie maintains the login. Account information is kept while needed to operate your account; you may request access, correction or deletion by emailing contact@codefrom.in, subject to applicable legal and security obligations. The blog administrator account remains separate.
